An average pilot lucky enough to fly an extraordinary airplane. The kit came from Badlands STOL aircraft and Aero Endeavors of Idaho supplied most of the mods to turn this thing into a fire breathing dragon. One of the Aero Endeavors motto's - "We make our own wind". They are working hard to build back country capable airplanes that are tough and perform with lots of useful load. The plane is in the best shape it's ever been and almost ready to go after spending all winter in the shop. Aero Endeavors has made some significant upgrades including a smooth 3D printed intake manifold and a 3D printed short coupled heavy duty exhaust manifold adding a separate waste gate all which is leading to increased HP. We continue to push this plane to the limit looking for weak points. When we find them, the guys at Aero Endeavors designs better solutions. It is exciting as this plane gets stronger and stronger.
